Video: Wasted ~ Maggie/Victor, Xander/Sarah (Days of our Lives)
Song: Impatient (edited)
Artist: Sascha Ende (feat. Zara Taylor)
Summary: Covers the storyline of when Maggie, while driving intoxicated, caused an accident which caused the deaths of Adrienne and Sarah's newborn baby. Xander reluctantly agrees to Victor's order that they switch Sarah's baby with Brady's baby, born that same night, and to not let Maggie know she was driving.
Editor's Notes: This is a new and improved, I feel, version of Sandstorm, which got hit by the copyright police. I'm actually glad now because I ended up finding a better fitting song, allowing me to make the video more sad, as I'd wanted but could not get to with the original song.

Summary: In the March 8th episode, Maggie and Victor had a very intimate conversation and they never touched each other throughout, but I'm sure they wanted to.
Editor's Notes: I've been wanting to work this song for six years! I also need to acknowledge dear hubby for being so understanding these last three days and for reminding me that I still needed to eat and sleep.

Song: Bye Bye (edited)
Artist: Jo Dee Messina
Summary: Uh oh, Victor's in trouble again!
Editor's Notes: No, I don't want Maggie and Victor to break up! It's just that I heard this song on the radio the evening of the episode where Maggie walked out so I took it as a sign that a video needed to be made.

Video: My Heart ~ Maggie/Victor (Days of our Lives)
Song: My Heart (edited)
Artist: Lizz Wright
Summary: Victor's bitterness has pushed Maggie to her limit.
Timeline: May 2, 2016 (after Maggie and Victor are released from the hospital) through July 21, 2016.
Editor's Notes:
(or How I Spent My Labor Day Weekend)
When I first heard this song nearly four years ago, I knew it was perfect for Maggie. I tried working it twice without success. Then as I was working No Matter What, I thought maybe this timeline would work. I wasn't sure I could do it because I detest the storyline that Maggie had a mystery daughter and I refuse to use any scenes with her. No offense meant to the actress. There was plenty of tension going on even without that so that's where I focused. Once I started I was fully consumed and surprised at how easily it went together. But of course it did, because John and Suzanne were absolutely amazing!

So I Made My First dreamwidth Post
Of course it was for a video.
Anything I post here will be just here. I'm not going to do the Crossposting thing. Life is complicated enough, right?
It's going to take me some time to figure things out here.
I'm wondering how many of my friends from LJ are over here. I've already connected with two. Yay! *huggles* I think most have moved on to the other, more instantaneous, social sites or maybe just given up completely.
Okay, I'm going to look around and see how things work here.

Video: No Matter What ~ Maggie/Victor (Days of our Lives)
Song: No Matter What (edited)
Artist: Badfinger
Victor doesn’t notice that Maggie is worried about him paying so much attention to Caroline. After Maggie is paralyzed and Victor has a heart attack, he realizes how much they need each other.
Editor’s Note:
Last week I found some notes I’d scribbled down after the episode on 10/20/2016 based on the conversations between Victor and Julie and Victor and Philip. The latter being why I chose this song. Even though it’s not a song that makes one think “Maggie and Victor,” I'd actually had it on my "idea list" because I love it so much. Well, that first draft was really dark and depressing, probably because of the personal issues I had going on then but also because the show wasn't much fun either. Anyhoo!! I scrapped that draft, keeping only the ending, and refocused on the Caroline angle.

Note: The original audio has been hit with a copyright claim. I had to mute the song in order to unblock the video. I overlayed the majority of it with youtube-approved music. The new song is "New Toy" by Silent Partner. I have added captions for lyrics and dialog. Use the CC button at the bottom right of the player.
Summary: Inspired by the 10/20/2016 episode. Story timeline is Christmas 2015 thru October 2016.Victor doesn’t notice that Maggie is worried about him paying so much attention to Caroline. After Maggie is paralyzed and Victor has a heart attack, he realizes how much they need each other.

Moving from LiveJournal to Dreamwidth
Hey there! I'm finally making the move from there to here.
I've just submitted the import request to copy all of my LiveJournal entries.
I actually kind of feel sad, and other feelings I can't identify.
edited to add:
It looks like the import is complete. I will, over time, and if you know me you know it might be awhile to, go through the posts here and fix any links. *heavysigh* I know I wasn't a super-gabby poster but it has been 12 years.
