Of course it was for a video.

Anything I post here will be just here. I'm not going to do the Crossposting thing. Life is complicated enough, right?

It's going to take me some time to figure things out here.

I'm wondering how many of my friends from LJ are over here. I've already connected with two. Yay! *huggles* I think most have moved on to the other, more instantaneous, social sites or maybe just given up completely.

Okay, I'm going to look around and see how things work here.

I came here with a few things to say and now I can't think of them. How stupid is that?

Half an hour has passed, walking around, retracing my activity, but still not remembering.  Oh well, it'll come back to me. I'll keep pen and paper handy for when it does.

Meanwhile...

I did it. I linked my YouTube account with Google+. From now on you will see me as "Theresa UhSir" on all things Google. I have 14 days to undo it. I think. It's totally wasted on me. But if it makes it easier for me to do what I want to get done then fine. I'm beginning to not care anymore about every website wanting to be "all-in-one." It is such a bad idea but they've worn me down. I give up.

I got an award for one of my videos. Runner-up in the Feel-Good category at Wolfpup's, round 52 for "Nothing Else Matters." I'm glad there are folks like at Wolfpup's who do these open contests. It helps me to put more effort into getting a video to have real meaning. It gives me a reason to keep working on a video when I get stuck or frustrated or just can't get it to go the way I was envisioning. I miss Kawoosh!

Still sorting through the old emails. Found one from my mother with a link. I tried it and was pleased to see it still exists.

Wayback when, folks played a game called "Twenty Questions" and there were even radio and television programs. Of course it had to get on the web! Think of something, anything, then click on: 20Q.net

A new commercial for Playstation's "MLB 12 The Show" has the Cubs winning the World Series and the fans reacting.

From the Playstation.blog:
"For our commercial, we chose what’s arguably the greatest moment for any gamer and fan of baseball: winning the World Series. We celebrate the fans who have the longest-running loyalty and emotion behind their team to win it – Cubs fans."

I love it. Thank you Playstation. I don't play video games but I am a diehard Cubs fan and I approve this commercial. ♥

I was poking around the options on photobucket and found out there is a "stats" thingy. One of the things I saw was a graph showing daily views of files. Cool!  But something didn't click right when I saw that this picture is getting a tremendous number of hits.

I'm Fine Really (cat)

I haven't posted that picture anywhere in almost forever so what's going on?  I'm thinking someone else is linking to it?  Can people do that?  I'm not mad if that's what's happening. It's not my picture to begin with. I got it from the site where I bought the poster of it. But if I ever start having bandwidth issues with PhotoBucket, which I highly doubt I will, then I'll start getting mad.

One other thing... When I'm viewing the "All Albums" version of my account is there a way to change the view setting?  I can't stand the little thumbnails and indented sub-folders.  I have lots of folders so getting to one means scrolling a lot and I get lost where I'm at sometimes. I'd love to set it so just the main folders show with an option to expand and collapse them. Does anyone know if this is possible? I've poked around the help and FAQ but can't find anything.
