When Sam was injured and alone on the Prometheus her memories of Jack helped give her the strength to get home. The title is a play on the episode title "Grace" and the meaning of the phrase "saving grace" which, I feel is what the whole episode is about. My American Heritage Dictionary definition of the phrase is "A redeeming quality, especially one that compensates for one's shortcomings" which makes perfect sense to me with regard to the title of the episode. Sam's "redeeming quality" is what saved her and the crew, but at the same time she confronted her "shortcomings," with regard to loving and being loved.
