Can I Quit Now?
July 17th, 2008 02:46 pmUnfortunately, no. I have to keep working but...
So I'm bored. One of the things I hate about my job is it's either absolutely, horrendously, incomprehensibly busy or there isn't anything to do. Of course the latter only lasts, like, 1 day then it's back to the races.
So I'm chillin' listening to Layla (Derek and the Dominoes, a.k.a. Eric Clapton) over and over and over and over. I guess it's too loud, although I'm wearing headphones. A coworker from over the wall came around and asked if I have Layla on repeat. I said yes. I'm not turning it down either. Deal with it. It's my hearing, I'll go deaf if I want.
Guess the PMS is acting up. I'm getting better about this monthly woman-thing. I don't get nearly as bitchy as I used to. I think. Hmmm, I should probably go do a survey. Bah! Who cares! Deal with it. Well, at least the mood swings are keeping me entertained.
I'm supposed to be catching up on those little things that get put off because we're too busy, but need to get done. Unfortunately, by the time I sort out which little thing to do and get started on it, I have to put it aside for another hot job. What's the point then? *tries to look busy*
Oooo, the second movement of the song! *waits* That is positively beautiful. How can people say it's sorrowful?
Aww, hubby just stopped by and says I'm a peach, all fuzzy and sweet. *loves hubby*
Well, it's almost time to go home, so I better try to get something done.
