Damn You DoOL!
September 18th, 2011 03:24 pmDoOL is short for “Days of Our Lives.” It's a daytime soap opera here in the U.S. and I think I may have gotten myself hooked on it. But just a little part of it, if that's possible. *sigh* Okay, here's the story...
Last week was... *tries not to squick flist* ...that time of the month for me. This is a horrible week every month for me and has been for several years. I have less than zero energy and my brain seems to go AWOL and, well, I'll just leave out the rest of the horror. So last week I did my best to exercise every day. I did not reach aerobic levels but I did get off my ass every day and that, I hope, told my brain that I'm serious about getting back in shape. The majority of the remaining time in the week was spent either sleeping or moaning or bitching or surfing television. Whilst surfing one day I happened upon a Days of Our Lives episode and witnessed a scene I'd never imagined possible: Maggie Horton and Victor Kiriakis discussing loving and living together! *blinks, blinks, blinks again*
Time to confess one of my past passions.
