Maybe the real question is whether I have the guts to make the post Public. I'll think about that while I answer the rest.

[02] Would you do meth if it was legalized?
No.

[03] Abortion: for or against it?
Both. Depends upon the situation. Generally I'm for having the choice but I'm against it being used solely as a form of birth-control.

[04] Do you think the world would fail with a female president?
WTF? Since when does the U.S. president determine the fate of the entire WORLD? Jeeezzz!

Do I think the U.S. would fail? No.
The president is basically just a pretty face and is only the chief of one-third of the government. The Cabinet and Congress are the real powers. Golly, to put the fate of the entire country into the hands of a single person would be, like, dictatorial!

[05] Do you believe in the death penalty?
Yes. But I don't think it should result in quick death. I think the bastards should be left to rot in 6x8 cells for the rest of their lives. The REST of their lives, never to be released, parole is not an option, retrial is not an option. It'd be a hell of a lot cheaper on the taxpayer. Think of the money that wouldn't be spent debating the violation of the bastard's criminal's right to life or the humanity/inhumanity of the various methods.

[06] Do you wish marijuana would be legalized already?
Hmmm, part of me thinks it should be legalized and part of me doesn't. This is one of those issues that I sit on the fence about because there just isn't enough research and since it doesn't have a direct impact my life other than the spending of my tax dollars I just keep sitting there in silence.

[07] Are you for or against premarital sex?
Totally for it. The more the merrier!

[08] Do you believe in God?
I believe in something but I won't call it God as that implies an all powerful, human-like, transcendental being and I do not believe that exists now or ever.

[09] Do you think same sex marriage should be legalized?
Yes dammit! Has everybody forgotten the separation of church and state part of the First Amendment to the United States Constitution?? It's the very first sentence for crying out loud!

[10] Do you think it's wrong that so many Hispanics are illegally moving to the USA?
Yes. I think the federal government needs to establish a system that will allow and record the entry of these people into the country, not allow them to turn fucking invisible but instead allow them to be here for a period of time after which they either go back to their native country or become citizens. Please know that all of that is hugely oversimplified. Since it would require much, much, too much change to the infrastructure (spelled S-P-E-N-D-M-O-N-E-Y) it'll never happen.

[11] A twelve year old girl has a baby, should she keep it?
150 years ago that girl would have been fully capable of raising that baby. In today's society, there are so many variables to factor in and the average girl would need a tremendous amount of help from elders, it would have to be a case-by-case decision. Twisted round, sort of cop-out answer there isn't it?

[12] Should the alcohol age be lowered to eighteen?
Yes, since most of them are already drinking before 16 anyway.

[13] Should the war in Iraq be called off?
You can't just "call off" a war! "Oh hey, bad guys, we decided to pull out. Should be all gone in about a month. Meantime, you stop being all bad and stuff until we do that, 'mkay? Thanks. Oh, and sorry 'bout leaving the place all fucked up like it is. Oops!"

Should we get the hell out Iraq? Yes, and that is in the works, but we the public and the media need to let the military and heads of government do it without making them broadcast the plans and date to the terrorists!!!

[14] Assisted suicide is illegal: do you agree?
No.

[15] Do you believe in spanking your children?
Yes, but that does not translate to "beat the hell out of."

[16] Would you burn an American flag for a million dollars?
Sure. Proper disposal of a flag that is worn out is to do so in a "dignified manner" such as burning.

But since this is "The Controversial Survey" then the question is actually asking "would you make a statement against ..." In that case then my answer is no. One, that's not my style for voicing my objection to a thing. Two, my objections are strictly mine and I'm not hip on dragging a lot of publicity to them. And they ain't for sale.

[17] Who do you think would make a better president? McCain or Obama?
Neither of them. This election is so horribly fucked up. I'm voting 3rd party for the first time. My presidential vote doesn't matter because I live in Illinois and the electoral college is already going to default to Obama. But I can and will go on record showing my complete dissatisfaction with both of the major parties.

By the way, the use of the electoral college shows just how little power the president has because the citizens of the country do not actually elect the president. Pretty much just a puppet no matter who it is.

[18] Are you afraid others will judge you from reading some of your answers?
Afraid? No.
