Dear Stargate PTB, You Suck!

So any hope for a canon confirmation of Sam and Jack has been squashed.

I'm very sad.

No, I was sad.

Now I'm absofuckinglutely mad!

You no-good, lousy, wimpy, lame-butt PTB! Your wittle bitty feewings are hurt cuz the diehard Stargate SG-1 and SGA fans do not like your precious SGU! Um, yeah cuz you all just thumbed your noses at us when you abandoned decent scripting and production of SG-1 and SGA in order to get your precious SGU into production. Wait, lemme guess...  You whored yourselves to SyFy and then they dumped you like a piece of trash when SGU ratings never, ever came anywhere close to SG-1 and SGA. Like you didn't know that SyFy is only concerned about the everlovin' dollar? And now you just walk away from it all and blame us for our lack of support. Wow. Really professional.

I have a mind to take my 3 dozen plus video ideas and delete them.

But I won't do that.

Yet.

I'm sure after I calm down I will want to work on them.

So I'll force myself to stay rational until that day.

In the meantime I'm just not going to give a rat's ass about television shows and the characters on them. Never in my life did I let myself get caught up into a television show like this. I never will again.

I totally agree with pretty much your whole thinking here. :(

I think I had already talked myself into thinking we weren't going to get that third movie, so I was as freaking out as I should have been. It just sooo annoys me! They never should have even made SGU, the smart thing would have been to wrap up Atlantis and give the SG1 fans that movie we were promised.

And I agree, I've never loved a couple like I do Sam/Jack and I probably never will again :(

I really wish they would have ended SG1 with season 8 except instead of Moebius do a "goodbye" type show that gave us Sam and Jack riding off into the sunset, arms around each other and their lips locked. Then the PTB would have had time to work on SGA and SGU without spreading so thin that they ended up ruining all of it. Arrrrrgh!

Yeah... They killed the show for me when they intorduced Cameron. And then SGU...*shudder* i watched two episodes, was that it was basically going to be all explosions and sex and washed my hands of the wwhole franchise.

I actually like SGU (and didn't like SGA) so I can't say I'm mad about them making SGU at all. I'm mad at SighFigh (that's how I write it) and their stupidness and at MGM at their I don't even know what *rolleyes*

There is just one Stargate PTB that I still like: Brad Wright. He was the only who stuck with it and made an effort.

I'm okay with SGU. I watch it but I really don't care about anyone on the show. And everything is gray! Boooooriiing! And shaky camera gives me a headache. But I watch it because it's Stargate!

I feel with you, yes. Because I'M also in love with this show (and SGA as well). But I'M not really surprised. Considering the fact that MGM has just escaped from its bankruptcy, this was clearly predictable unfortunately.*sigh*

I(we) need more Stargate fanvideos! So I hope, that one day you'll do that ones.

OMG . . . Something major has happened and I didn't hear about it cause SGU sucked so bad that I drifted from the fandom and became disconnected.

But it must be bad! No SG ever?? That movie they were planning that was Jack-centric?? Never? Ever??

WTF!? SciFi (see what I did there??) clearly wanted another BSG and that's why SGU was completely totally different than either of the other two series. And then they wonder why a lot of the fans didn't like it!? Um did I mention (oh mighty SciFi) that it was COMPLETELY TOTALLY DIFFERENT!? I can't believe this shite.

But please, please don't give up your vidding. It's devoted fans like you that will end up keeping this fandom alive. *hugs*

I should have expected it but it still came as a shock when I found out too. I just hope that since sci-fi characters are never really dead so stargate will eventualy come back too. Meanwhile I keep believing Sam and Jack are married :-) and looking forward to your videos :-)

Thank you dear. Maybe they will actually do something and confirm Sam and Jack. But if it's not with Richard Dean Anderson and Amanda Tapping then it won't mean squat to me. I'll get back to vidding but I don't have any interest right now.
